An Inside Look of Design Inspirations, Creation & Stories From Klockit's 40 Year History

Note Of Appreciation To Klockit Customers

Over the past few weeks, I have been working on a beautiful clock project with a long-time Klockit customer. This particular customer has designed and built many clocks and furniture items for his own home, but has also produced prototypes of a variety of Klockit product designs.

Working with this accomplished woodworker reminded me of all the creative and talented customers I have met, assisted, and learned so much from over the past 30+ years as a product designer for Klockit. To this day, as I am designing or constructing kit/plan products for Klockit, or when I am working on a project for myself, I still draw from the wealth of knowledge I gained from Klockit customers.

So, here’s to all who are privileged to possess the beautiful handiwork I have seen: Thank you for all of the passion and pride that went into each and every one of your projects!

Again, on behalf of the entire Klockit team – thank you to all the wonderful Klockit customers who have so influenced (and improved) our company. I look forward to many more years of seeing the beautiful clocks, home furnishings and home decor heirloom items you create.

Best of luck to all in the Create-A-Clock contest!

John spent the better part of the 28 years he was employed by Klockit, designing hundreds of clock and furniture kits and plans and has continued with product design since his retirement in 2008. John’s love of clocks, his passion for creating furniture for his own home as well as for family, and his great appreciation for the beautiful finished pieces Klockit customers make from our kits and plans inspire him to continue to create still more new clock and furniture designs.
