Just a reminder, this contest was based on three factors: creativity, design, and story. I’ll be honest and tell you that our panel of judges had a hard time judging the submissions. But, they were able to narrow them down to three very impressive submissions. So without further ado, here are the winners!
Mark Royall is the big winner! All of his work is created from recycled bicycle parts. This creation is his most impressive piece we’ve seen so far. Check out that detail!
Ken Hayden transformed a vintage telephone into a beautiful clock. Since a telephone dial only has 10 finger holes, he fabricated a new dial from a black acrylic fruit platter, and hand-lettered the new numbers and letters.
Kevin Smith made this mantel clock for his daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. He wanted to make something special – something that would last a lifetime. This was Kevin’s first venture into clock-making!
Here are the honorable runner-ups!
