Perfectly project the time on your wall or ceiling with AcuRite’s 13021 Atomic Projection Alarm Clock. This slick and sleek alarm clock is a definite winner! Read the review below to find out how this alarm clock works, what its most notable features are, and who should buy it.
Atomic, What Does That Mean?
Atomic clocks contain a miniature radio receiver that monitors a low frequency time signal that is broadcasted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Radio Station WWVB in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The WWVB broadcasts the current time and date with split second accuracy, assuring you always have the most accurate time. Atomic timepieces also automatically update for Daylight Saving Time (DST), taking the hassle out of changing the time on your clock twice a year.
At first glance, you’ll notice this projection alarm clock is slim and sleek. It’s the perfect-sized alarm clock at 4.29” high x 6.63” wide x 2.28” deep. This alarm clock projects the time in large red digits anywhere you point the projector. Simply flip the display and adjust the focus. Project the time on the wall or ceiling – your choice! We also love that this alarm clock comes with a USB input for charging your phone at night. Convenient feature to have at your nightstand!
Recommendation: When you are running this AcuRite alarm clock on batteries alone, the screen is dim. We recommend running it with the AC adapter and only using batteries for back up purposes.
Who Should Buy It?
We loved having this projection alarm clock at our bedside and would highly recommend it to anyone! At just $39.99, the price is right for this AcuRite alarm clock. It’s easy to use and set up out of the box. Replace your old alarm clock or give as a gift this holiday season!
