Since the lamp is not solar rechargeable, how long do the batteries last?
Hi Frank, it depends on your usage. This lantern features a timer option where the lantern will stay lit for 6 hours at a time and then automatically shut off. Or you can manually turn the lantern on and off at your own will.
Thank you for your reply. Let’s just say I use it for 6 hours everyday.
Hi Frank, it will also depend on the brand of batteries you plan to use. We estimate 6-12 months, but are unable to tell you exactly how long they will last on the timer mode.
Thanks again for your reply. That is what I was looking for.
How do I get inside this lantern to change the batteries?
Hi John, there is a battery terminal on the bottom. A screw needs to be removed to pop the battery cover off to gain access. Once removed the battery can be removed and replaced.
