Patience, time and love go into handmade quilts and knitted blankets. Our team believes they should be proudly displayed when not in use, so we created a versatile display cabinet woodworking plan to help guide you to build a new home for your treasure(s).
The top of the finished display cabinet pulls opens via a lid support arm. Once open, you have access to vertically lay quilts or blankets on the 3 included pegs. If you don’t want to display your items vertically, you can incorporate 3 shelves on which you can display your folded quilts/blankets or your favorite kick-knacks. The glass panels on the front and sides allow multiple views of your displayed treasures.
The woodworking plan is detailed yet easy to follow via dimensional drawings for each wood piece and step-by-step instructions. The hardware package for this woodworking plan is sold separately and includes all necessary hardware including the continuous hinge, magnetic door catch, surface mount lock and key and lid support arm.
The finished size of the Display Cabinet is 43 ½”H x 23”W x 15”D – so it’s not too big, but not too small either. I think it would be a great addition to my living room!

Looking to create the perfect gift for your children or grandchildren this holiday? The hours of labor you put into the new Bear Family Lodge Woodworking Plan will be forever worthwhile as your loved one creates fantasy story lines for the bear family.
This intricate woodworking plan includes patterns that are shown in full-size color displays on 11”x17” pages. The plan will guide you through the construction of a miniature log cabin, a 5-member bear family, and rustic furniture pieces. The bear family includes Father Bear, Mother Bear, the Twins, and a Baby. Father Bear measures in at a height of 5-1/2”; the overall finished size lodge of 24”H x 43”W x 28”D. Once constructed, each family member will be able to sit, stand, raise their arms, and turn their heads.
Their beautiful lodge includes items such as a porch swing, dining table, bed, nightstand, cradle, rocking horse, and a log rack. You’ll be impressed with even the smallest details that went into this plan – such as a chandelier, picture frames, pillows, candles, and lamp.
Get creative by adding sticks and segments from real tree branches as accents for some of the furniture. Masonry information is included in the plan if you prefer to construct the fireplace from real rock.
Passed down through generations, this elaborate lodge will be the focal point of any playroom or bedroom. Or keep the finished product for yourself and use as a display piece in your home. Bottom Line? The high detail in this plan makes this product truly amazing.
